Hello and welcome to Designs by Christa, an online boutique based in the heart of Alabama and home to many national championships (Roll Tide!!). My name is Christa Moore and I'm the wife to a wonderful, hard working husband and mother to two beautiful little girls and a little boy.
I started this hobby almost 7 years ago when my husband surprised me with my first monogramming machine for mother's day to help save money for all the monogrammed items I bought for our oldest daughter. A month later my husband tore his labrum and was out of work for a few weeks. He decided to create a Facebook page, Designs by Christa, and surprise me by starting a business. I thought it was a fun idea and it quickly took off and we've been beyond blessed and have been trying to catch up ever since. Over the past 3 years this hobby has turned into an amazing, successful and fun business. I'm very thankful and blessed to be able to run my own business and I appreciate everyone's support that has followed with me thus far. I want to thank God for blessing my family with this journey we are on and all the sleepless nights and dedication it takes to make this busniness succesful. For now, I'm a one-woman show but I have the constant support of my family and especially my mother, "P", for helping deliver local orders and answer messages on my Facebook page.
I lauched this website last year after the Facebook page, Designs by Christa, became too overwhelming expecially when I realized I was pregnant with our second daughter. I decided to take some time off to focus on my family and now that she is in daycare I"m back to work full time and continue to grow this business everyday.
